Our Farm

Situated on the Sunshine Coast Queensland Hinterland and established in 2009 we are proudly the first Rose, herb and edible flower farm in Australia to be Certified Chemical Free Soil. Roses and flowers do grow all year round in our sub tropical environment. However, during the winter we are busy re seeding flowers for Spring, planting, pruning and mulching. Our roses do bloom over Winter so we also give them a light winter feed to invigorate them for Spring. With never a dull moment we fertilize again in late Spring and then for the rest of the year don’t really come up for air. Seasonal flower seeding, planting, transplanting, picking, sorting, taking orders, deadheading, feeding, weeding, pruning and watering always ensures the plants and blooms in the gardens are well nurtured and healthy.

Being earth and field grown our flowers are all grown as nature intended; slowly, giving each the time to develop naturally, thus creating large and varied types of blooms rich with colour and scent. Nature takes its time to grow ‘real roses’ and tasty edible flowers, and it’s worth the wait… Caz

My aim at Organica Floret Rose Farm is to provide chefs, Cake Decorators and florists with the real thing; beautiful roses and flowers that they can create masterpieces with. Roses that we remember from our grandparents gardens, roses full of scent, vibrant with colour and with the most beautiful textures. We grow our roses and edible flowering plants out in open gardens braving the elements, being nurtured on a daily basis to provide us with a beautiful environment for our bees, birds, fogs and beneficial insects and of course our pristine edible blooms for our valued clients to savour and enjoy.

Harvesting is required every day as we do not have any hothouses, we are obviously dependent on what the weather brings us.

Our blooms are available fresh and dried because of the variety of colours, fragrances, quality and uniqueness of being edible and of course Chemical Free. We also produce our own pristine distilled Roseweater and collaborate with gourmet producers such as Hum Honey
