Our Cake roses are picked to order each morning and our varieties include the divinely petalled English wedding roses of David Austin and many multi petalled European and Australian bred roses that grow beautifully here in South East Queensland all year round. The delightful soft petals have a delicate aroma and subtle floral flavour.

Our colour range covers most hues and each season offers choices of magnificent fragranced and chemical free spray free earth grown roses that are edible.

How to use:

We guarantee our roses are chemical free spray free earth grown rose. They are edible and can be applied directly to any cake creation safely. Petals have a delicate flavour as it is made up of 95% water (thus, low calorie count!) and can act as additional refreshment in cold drinks and fruit dishes. You can also use rose petals to make beautiful rose petal jam. 

NOTE: If you’re planning to also put fresh flowers and foliage on a cake, and they’re going to make contact with frosting that’s going to be consumed, they also need to be chemical free organically grown and not treated with any pesticides…

Storage:

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Once you’ve arranged the Roses and flowers/ foliage on your cake, keep the cake in the refrigerator until it’s ready to be served, so that the flowers stay fresh.
